Approved Workmen are Not Ashamed! (AWANA)

2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

This Christ-centered ministry is enjoyed by Bible believing churches all over the world.  The goal of AWANA is that all children come to know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus Christ!

During each meeting , the AWANA at Faith Church clubbers are led by dedicated, trained and caring AWANA staff.  Your children will learn to recite and memorized scripture verses (using the AWANA learning materials).  They will participate in game time as well as enjoy snacks, music, and awards. It's fast paced and lots of fun!

During the AWANA season, many unique activities are also blended into the normal calendar of events for added fun and fellowship.  At Faith Church AWANA kids enjoy Crazy Hat night, the AWANA Store, Pizza Parties, Crafts, the Grand Prix, Games Day and more!

Your children can participate in AWANA on Sunday evenings starting in October and running through April from 5:30-7:30 PM. The program is open to children age 3 (potty-trained) through grade 6. The program is currently experienced by about 55 children, both from within and outside of the Faith Church Family. All are welcome to attend!

Please check back in September for the latest AWANA calendar of events!

AWANA's Three Age Groups:

Cubbies

The Awana club for preschoolers is Fun--and lots of it! It’s fun with a purpose – to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

Sparks

The Awana club for children in kindergarten through second grade is Fun learning = results! Kids have a blast playing games in the gym, singing songs and hearing stories about Sparky and his friends. Sparks earn awards as they take a step deeper into God’s Word learning basic truths about Jesus and salvation.

Truth & Training

The name Truth & Training reflects the passion of Awana to teach 3rd to 6th grade boys & girls the truth of God’s Word and to train them to follow Christ in their daily lives. A cast of fun characters, awards, games, music and Bible-centered curriculum help kids to HAVE FUN and build a firm foundation for their faith.

Parents Stay and Play!

Parents/Guardians are invited to bring your children to AWANA and then stay to use your laptop on our WiFi Internet service.  Get caught up on e-mail, or work while your children are having fun!
